Attending local meetings allows us to stay informed about local issues and directly engage with representatives. It is an opportunity for us to provide insight and feedback which is crucial for the development of policies and/or projects that genuinely benefit the community.

We understand life is busy and not everyone has time to attend local meetings. For that reason, we have listed some options/resources below so that you can still be involved.
Many local meetings are live streamed and/or recorded so you can watch remotely or watch at a later time
We encourage WANC members who are able to join any meetings to volunteer to take meetings notes which would include items such as main topics, decisions made, action items, important dates, and key takeways. The meeting notes will then be shared out with WANC members via the WANC facebook group.
*You don't have to be available for all meetings to volunteer. Any participation is appreciated.
